India has strongly criticized Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism and attempting to shift blame onto its neighbors for internal failures. The statement comes amid escalating clashes along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border, which have raised concerns over regional security.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) condemned Pakistan’s “longstanding policy” of hosting and supporting terrorist organizations, calling it a major threat to regional stability. Officials stated that Pakistan continues to deflect attention from its domestic challenges by blaming neighboring nations for its own instability.
India reaffirmed its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The government emphasized that New Delhi stands firmly with Kabul during this period of heightened tensions, underscoring its commitment to peace and cooperation in the region.
Tensions at the Afghanistan–Pakistan border have intensified in recent weeks following cross-border confrontations. India maintains that sustainable peace in South Asia can only be achieved when terrorism is completely eliminated from the region.
