New Delhi, 30th November 2025— DOMA (Parisangh of Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Aadivasi Organisations) successfully organized a powerful national assembly titled “DOMA Pledge: At Ambedkar’s Feet to Save the Constitution” at Ambedkar Bhavan, New Delhi.

The event drew thousands of participants from across India, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the constitutional rights of marginalized communities.

The assembly was held under the leadership of Dr. Udit Raj, National President of DOMA and former Member of Parliament, who said that growing attacks on constitutional values threatened the dignity and security of Dalits, OBCs, Minorities, and Adivasis.

He emphasized that the Constitution is the soul of India, and every citizen must unite to protect it.

The core objective of the gathering was to:

Defend and protect constitutional rights guaranteed to Dalits, Minorities, OBCs, and Adivasis

Highlight the growing incidents of atrocities and discrimination against these sections

Reinforce the call for unity, justice, and equality as envisioned by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Participants collectively took the DOMA Pledge to remain steadfast in defending democracy, social justice, and the secular fabric of the nation.

Originally, the rally was planned to be held at Ramlila Maidan. However, Delhi Police denied permission following an objection raised by a BJP worker. In spite of this last-minute change, DOMA successfully mobilized thousands at Ambedkar Bhavan, demonstrating the people’s unwavering commitment to the cause.

A Collective Call for Justice

Speakers at the event expressed serious concern over rising violence and discrimination against vulnerable communities. They stressed that constitutional safeguards are under threat and that it is the responsibility of every citizen to stand up for justice and equality.

The assembly concluded with chants of unity and a renewed resolve to continue the struggle for social justice as envisioned by Babasaheb Ambedkar.
