The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) hosted its latest medical webinar on September 13, 2025, titled “Indian Medicinal Wisdom: Strategies for Modern Maladies.” The session brought together experts in Ayurveda, modern medicine, yoga, naturopathy, and public health, highlighting how traditional and modern systems can work together for better healthcare outcomes.

The event was moderated by Aparna Hande, Public Health Leader and GOPIO Medical Council Co-Chair. She emphasized the importance of engaging the global Indian diaspora in conversations that integrate evidence-based ancient practices with modern medicine for prevention and treatment.
