The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has announced its first Ayurveda & Wellness Retreat, scheduled for November 12–16, 2025, at The Raj, a leading Ayurveda Health Center and Wellness Spa in the U.S.
The retreat, limited to 25 couples, is designed for AAPI members and their families, offering a combination of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, yoga, meditation, and CME-accredited educational sessions.

Organized in collaboration with the Maharishi International University Fellowship MS in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda, the program will be led by Dr. Amit Chakrabarty, Dr. Amit Shah, and Dr. Arti Prasad. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with Panchakarma treatments, Ayurvedic consultations, and breathwork (Pranayama), alongside scientific lectures exploring evidence-based Ayurveda practices.

Participants will also enjoy Indian cuisine prepared by professional chefs and evening cultural performances. Additional activities include tours of The Raj Panchakarma facility, Maharishi International University, and the Golden Domes meditation site.
AAPI has secured an all-inclusive discounted rate for members, making the retreat more accessible. Organizers noted strong interest, with about 15 spots already reserved.
This initiative marks a milestone in integrating traditional wellness practices with modern medical knowledge, providing physicians with tools for personal rejuvenation and professional growth.
