The Atlanta chapter of the 25th edition of Bharat Rang Mahotsav (BRM) 2026 was formally inaugurated on Feb. 20 by the Consul General of India.

Established in 1999 by the National School of Drama (NSD), Bharat Rang Mahotsav was created to promote and celebrate Indian theatre. The festival is organized by NSD and presented in Atlanta by the Performing Arts Community of Atlanta (PACA).

This year’s lineup features a dynamic range of Indian theatre productions, highlighting powerful storytelling, artistic innovation, and creative excellence. The event brings the depth and diversity of Indian stagecraft to international audiences.

Over the years, the festival has built a strong legacy of fostering cultural diversity and artistic exchange, connecting performers and theatre enthusiasts across borders while celebrating the universal language of the performing arts.

The 2026 Atlanta edition forms part of BRM’s global outreach initiative, serving as an important platform for Indian theatre to engage with communities across the United States.
