In a season dedicated to kindness and community service, the American Telugu Association (ATA) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to giving back to its roots. Through a wide range of humanitarian and cultural initiatives across the Telugu states, ATA continues to touch thousands of lives by supporting education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and rural development. From distributing essential supplies to empowering young innovators, the organization’s efforts reflect a deep bond with its homeland.

ATA is set to host its flagship annual cultural and service festival, ATA Vedukalu 2025, across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from December 12 to December 27, 2025. Over the past two decades, ATA Vedukalu has grown into a global movement dedicated to promoting Telugu language, arts, and traditions, while also driving meaningful social change through education and health programs.

What began as a regional initiative in Andhra Pradesh has today evolved into a large-scale celebration spanning both Telugu states with extensive participation from local communities.


Leadership and Planning

The 2025 edition of ATA Vedukalu is being organized under the guidance of Jayanth Challa, President of ATA, and Satish Ramasahayam Reddy, ATA President-Elect and Vedukalu Chair, with detailed planning and coordination from ATA’s national and regional teams.

Press meet, school scholarships, infrastructure development projects, and cultural programs.

December 13 – Sangareddy
Startup Pitch Event at IIT Hyderabad.

December 14 – Hyderabad
Telugu literary and cultural symposium.

December 16–17 – Hyderabad & Visakhapatnam
Business and entrepreneurship seminars.

December 20–23 – Multiple Locations
Sports activities, education programs, school infrastructure initiatives, drinking water filter installations, and women’s health camps.

December 24–25 – Various Districts
Children-focused health camps and charitable outreach programs.

December 27 – Hyderabad (Grand Finale)
Mega cultural showcase and ATA Awards – India 2025 ceremony at Ravindra Bharathi.


ATA Awards – India 2025

As part of ATA Vedukalu, the ATA Awards – India 2025 will recognize exceptional individuals of Telugu origin who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields and in community service. The awards ceremony will be held on December 27, 2025, at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

The last date for nominations is December 7, 2025. Nominations can be submitted via email to: awards@ataworld.org

Grand Finale – December 27, 2025

The closing celebration will feature a spectacular blend of classical, folk, and contemporary Telugu cultural performances by acclaimed artists. The evening will culminate in the prestigious ATA Awards ceremony followed by a grand banquet.

This grand finale will also serve as a build-up to the 19th ATA Conference & Youth Convention, scheduled to be held in Baltimore, USA, from July 31 to August 2, 2026.


Service Activities Across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh

Parallel to the cultural celebrations, ATA continues to roll out multiple service initiatives across both states, including:

  • Educational support and school upgrades
  • Clean drinking water projects
  • Women’s health and wellness camps
  • Community welfare and rural development programs

ATA has invited Telugu NRIs and community members across the globe to actively take part in these initiatives and celebrations. Those interested in hosting service activities in their hometowns can register through the official ATA website.


ATA Vedukalu 2025 is being celebrated as a precursor to ATA’s 19th International Conference & Youth Convention, reaffirming ATA’s global mission of cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and humanitarian service.
