Kartikey Singh’s inspiring journey is a testament to resilience and determination. Facing rejection and setbacks early in life, he couldn’t get into IIT and struggled to find a stable job. Instead of succumbing to discouragement, Singh turned these failures into motivation to succeed. At 16, his dream was to secure admission in IIT, but that goal remained unfulfilled. By 20, he was hoping for a job, but faced rejection from every company he applied to, including giants like Microsoft and Autodesk.
While lying on his hostel bed, watching friends celebrate their placements, Singh felt dismissed and disheartened. Out of curiosity, he reached out to a freelancer he saw earning steadily online on Instagram. That conversation marked a turning point. He began posting on social media daily, initially receiving no responses, likes, or messages. However, after about six weeks, he received his first project offer for Rs 3,000, which kickstarted his freelancing journey.
Gradually, his work expanded, clients arrived, and his rates increased. Eventually, Singh built a small team and now runs a thriving agency with five employees, earning roughly Rs 6 lakh per month. He emphasizes to others that success is possible even without connections or a top-tier college background, sharing his story to inspire many: “If I can do it without any connections to a tier-3 college, you can too.”
Social media users have responded positively, praising Singh’s persistence and resilience. Many expressed that his journey provides hope to those feeling stuck in a cycle of rejection, reinforcing that rejection often redirects us toward success.
