The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) has announced a new partnership with Mews, designating the hospitality technology provider as its official Property Management System (PMS).
AAHOA represents nearly 20,000 hotel owners who collectively operate more than 36,000 hotels and over 3.2 million guestrooms across the United States — accounting for more than 60% of the country’s hotel properties.
Under the partnership, AAHOA members will receive exclusive pricing, accelerated onboarding support, and access to Mews’ modern, cloud-based platform. The system is designed to streamline operations, automate manual tasks, and enhance profitability — particularly critical as hotel owners in economy and midscale segments navigate rising labor costs and tightening margins. Members will also gain access to Mews’ revenue management tools aimed at improving pricing strategies and maximizing returns.
Richard Valtr, founder of Mews, said the collaboration focuses on helping hoteliers transition from traditional property management to “profit management.”
“Running efficiently and staying profitable has never mattered more,” Valtr said. “Together, we’re equipping owners with tools to reduce manual work, control costs, and maximize revenue without relying on outdated systems.”
AAHOA Chairman Kamalesh (KP) Patel said members are seeking reliable yet forward-looking technology solutions that can scale with their businesses.
“Labor costs are rising and operational pressures continue to intensify,” Patel said. “Selecting Mews as our official PMS ensures hotel owners have access to tools that simplify operations, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable financial impact — not just software savings.”
AAHOA President and CEO Laura Lee Blake added that the partnership comes at a pivotal time for the industry.
“Hotel owners are facing cost pressures, workforce challenges, and rapidly changing guest expectations,” Blake said. “This partnership provides technology that strengthens performance and supports long-term, sustainable growth.”
Several AAHOA members already using Mews report improved operational visibility and margin protection.
Ashish Panchal of Otter Hospitality, who manages an 11-property portfolio, said adopting a unified system has helped streamline operations and enhance financial oversight.
Similarly, Abhi Bhakta of Inn on Arsenal noted that implementing Mews during a reopening phase allowed the property to launch fully integrated systems from day one, enabling lean operations and real-time demand management.
The partnership will be promoted through AAHOA’s national and regional events, including AAHOACON26, the association’s Annual Convention & Trade Show, scheduled for April 8–10, 2026, in Philadelphia.
Founded as the largest hotel owners association globally, AAHOA members contribute significantly to the U.S. economy, supporting more than 4.2 million jobs across the hospitality sector.
Mews currently serves 15,000 customers in 85 countries and has received multiple industry recognitions for its property management and hospitality technology solutions.
